Residential Development Takes Shape at 1101 Church Street in Evanston

Construction is progressing for the redevelopment of an existing church and a new addition at 1101 Church Street in Evanston. Developed as a joint venture partnership by Bob Ranquist, John Searls, and Chris Dillion, the 30-unit project incorporates the existing Sojourner Covenant Church, built in 1911 and closed in 2018. Philadelphia-based ISA is the architect behind the plan, which has been dubbed “Lodge Evanston.”

The joint venture known as 15 N Elizabeth LLC, comprised of Ranquist Development Group, Jodi Development, and Campbell Coyle, has planned seven total residences ranging from two-bedroom to five-bedroom units. The smaller layouts begin just under $800,000, while the larger four- and five-bedroom penthouses have been listed at just under $2 million.
