Roscoe Village

Demolition and new construction permits have been issued for 1730 West Belmont Avenue in Roscoe Village, leading the way to a new four-story, eight-unit residential building from developer Belmont Paulina Corp of Lemont. Michael Cox & Associates designed the project, and PCH Construction Company is on the team as the general contractor. The construction permit came through on July 14 after waiting in the Chicago Data Portal for 396 days from its June 2025 application start date. It includes a reported cost of $2.2 million.

A new construction permit issued by the City of Chicago on July 10 allows Barrett Homes to erect a residential building at 2210 West Belmont Avenue in the Roscoe Village neighborhood. The $1.8 million permit was only in the data portal for three and a half weeks from its application start date of June 16.

The first new construction permit was issued on June 15 to replace a pair of industrial buildings on the 3000 block of North Western Avenue in Roscoe Village. Approval at 3045 North Western to build a four-story plus basement, three-unit residence came through for developer Marat Liavitskyi as 3045 Western LLC with a reported cost of $954,592. This is the first of two projects slated for the site.
