Further details have been revealed for the redevelopment of Preston Bradley Center at 941 W Lawrence Avenue in Uptown. Located just west of the intersection with N Sheridan Road, the venue sits two blocks east of the Aragon near the heart of the Uptown entertainment district. The project is being led by its new owners Daniel and Karla Ivankovich who purchased the site last year, and the architect is unknown.
Plans have been unveiled for a six-story mixed-use building located at 1101 W Argyle Street in Uptown. The development is owned by Paul Tsang and will occupy the site of the former Hoa Nam Grocery, which received a demolition permit this past April. The project scope consists of retail spaces on the ground level, above which will be 16 total residences.
Initial details have been revealed for the residential conversion of the Our Lady Lourdes School at 4641 N Ashland Avenue in Uptown. Located just south of the intersection with W Leland Avenue across the street from the namesake church, the project is the second for the previous church buildings. Developed by Honore Properties, the school served the local community for over 50-years before closing in 2004.
Situated at 4006 N Sheridan Road in Uptown, a new seven-story mixed-use development has been proposed by Catapult Real Estate Solutions. Initially shared via Uptown Update, the project is set to replace a low-rise commercial structure at the intersection of Sheridan and Irving Park Road. Plans call for 92 new units atop 3,100 square feet of ground-level retail.
A construction permit has been issued for DLG Management’s upcoming eight-story, mixed-use building in Uptown. Located at 5035 N Sheridan Road and filed under the cross street address of 952 W Carmen Avenue, the project was approved by the Plan Commission last month. The development will replace a current single-story commercial structure and will feature 77 residential units, along with a ground-floor retail space.
