Updated plans have been revealed for the residential development at 4555 N Dover Street in Uptown. Located on the southeastern corner of the intersection with W Wilson Avenue, the project will replace a single-story non-historical commercial building and has seen a revision to its design since we first covered it in October 2021. Developers Ayman Khalil and Kareem Musawwir are working with Axios Architects on the multi-structure proposal.

Alderman Approves Zoning For 4701 N Clark Street In Uptown

The 46th Ward Alderman has announced his support for the rezoning of the residential development at 4701 N Clark Street in Uptown. Alderman James Cappleman released a press report backing the project, located just north of the intersection with W Leland Avenue. It will be replacing a one-story drive-thru bank that currently sits vacant, with developer Platinum Homes proposing the new multi-story building designed by 360 Design Studio across the street from Chase Park.

Plans Revealed For Slim Residential Proposal In Lakeview

Initial plans have been revealed for the residential development at 3925 N Clarendon Avenue in Lakeview. Revealed via Alderman Cappleman’s website, the proposal looks to replace a slim and long empty lot just south of the intersection with W Irving Park Road in between two existing residential structures. Local developer George Bahramis is working with Jonathan Splitt Architects on the 33-foot-wide design, leaving one additional similarly-sized parking lot left on the block to be redeveloped.

Demolition Permits Issued for 5000 N Clark Street in Andersonville

A demolition permit was issued on Tuesday for the removal of a one-story masonry building located at 5000 N Clark Street in the Andersonville neighborhood. The site was formerly home to Start Auto Repair and Body Shop. McDonagh Demolition Inc is serving as the demolition contractor for this project. At the time of publication, no plans have been submitted for any future developments at the site.
