A three-story, two-unit luxury condominium building at 840 West Lill Avenue in Lincoln Park continues to make rapid progress toward completion. The previous residence on the site, a single-family farmhouse that was built in 1860 and sold in May of this year, was demolished in July, with work on the new homes getting started before August began.

Built in 1860 and apparently torn down in about the same number of minutes, the old edifice gives way to the new 1840 West Lill, a three-story with basement, two-unit luxury condominium building designed by Michael Cox and Associates and developed by Pro-Homes.
Demolition work has begun on the small blue house at 840 W Lill Avenue in Lincoln Park. Demo contractor Carlos Group is carrying out instructions on a permit issued July 9 to tear down the two-story frame residence and detached garage.

This new project, led by 2006 Mohawk LLC, involves the construction of a four-story masonry building housing three dwelling units, including a duplex on the first floor and basement. The new development will replace a two-story frame residence.

The owner is listed as 1037 W Webster LLC and plans indicate that there will be three total dwelling units and a basement along with a detached three-vehicle masonry garage and a rooftop deck.
