Window installation appears to have crossed the halfway mark, and balconies on the east elevation are evident. That’s the work of general contractor Powers & Sons Construction.
Construction of Lakeview Landing continues at 835 West Addison Street in Lake View, with the most prominent signs of progress showing on the concrete cores for the elevator and stairwell. Each of those, the elevator on the northeast corner of the site and the stairwell at the southwest, have reached the sixth level of the future six-story building.
Foundation work is done, and the concrete core has started to rise, for the new affordable housing development at 835 West Addison Street in Lake View. Lakeview Landing is going to be a six-story, 37-unit building located just two blocks from Wrigley Field and the Addison Red Line platform.
Construction progress is ongoing for Sarah’s On Lakeside, the third housing development by Sarah’s Circle. The Chicago-based non-profit provides homes for women who are experiencing homelessness. This new endeavor will mean they have provided more than 100 units for those at risk of having no roofs over their heads.
Demolition is complete for Lake View Lutheran Church at 835 W Addison Street in Lake View. Now, attention turns to Lakeview Landing, as the crew from Powers & Sons Construction begins work on the residential development’s foundation.
