Lakeview Landing is now topped out at 835 West Addison Street in the Lake View Community Area, as work on the exterior continues. Window installation appears to have crossed the halfway mark, and balconies on the east elevation are evident. That’s the work of general contractor Powers & Sons Construction.

Lakeview Landing is a six-story, 37-unit affordable housing development from Over the Rainbow Association. It replaces the former Lake View Lutheran Church, who donated the site to OTR in exchange for the use of ground-floor space for church services. The first floor will also contain 12 parking spaces.

The church was demolished in June of last year; construction of the new development began immediately upon completion of the razing.
