Developed and managed by East Lake Management, Cadence stands 236 feet tall within the Illinois Medical District, offering 161 apartments, ideal for students and medical professionals as it sits just a short walk away from Rush University Medical Center and is close to the UIC campus and Fulton Market.
Final touches are underway for an 11-story mixed-use building branded as “Cadence,” situated at 2050 W Ogden Avenue in the Illinois Medical District. In partnership with AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust, East Lake Management & Development is the developer behind the 108-foot-tall structure and its containing master plan known as Gateway.
Construction has reached the halfway mark for a new six-story Hampton Inn & Suites hotel at 710 S Seeley Avenue in the Illinois Medical District. The 135-key hotel is being developed by East Lake Management & Development as part of a larger scheme known as Gateway. The plans reside on the trapezoidal block bound by Harrison, Damen, Ogden, and Hoyne. A new inner driveway has been created under Seeley Avenue, hence the address name.
Under the new name “Cadence,” metal paneling is now being installed for the 11-story apartment building at 2050 W Ogden Avenue in the Illinois Medical District. The mixed-use development will include nearly 10,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, as well as 161 apartments on the upper floors. The residences will range from studios up to two-bedroom apartments.
