A new Hampton Inn & Suites hotel, located at 710 S Seeley Avenue in the Illinois Medical District, has begun the installation of brick exterior cladding at its base. This 135-room project, overseen by East Lake Management, is part of the larger Gateway mixed-use plan, which includes the now-complete Cadence Apartments and two single-story retail buildings.
Situated in the Illinois Medical District at 710 S Seeley Avenue, structural work on the Hampton Inn & Suites hotel has now reached its full six-story height. Led by East Lake Management, the project is positioned within a trapezoidal block.
The developer behind “Cadence,” a new apartment building at 2050 W Ogden Avenue in Illinois Medical District, has released new interior photos showcasing both the residences and common areas. Developed and managed by East Lake Management, Cadence stands 236 feet tall within the Illinois Medical District, offering 161 apartments, ideal for students and medical professionals as it sits just a short walk away from Rush University Medical Center and is close to the UIC campus and Fulton Market.
With full building permits issued last week, crane installation has begun for a new 11-story residential tower known as The Gateway Apartments in the Illinois Medical District. Located at 2050 W Ogden Avenue near the western edge of Illinois Medical District, the building will house 161 units ranging from studios to two-bedroom listings. Amenities will offer a rooftop pool and lounge, various indoor lounges, a fitness center, a game area, a business center, and bike storage.
