Fullerton Pointe Has Begun Construction in Lincoln Park

Foundation construction has begun for Fullerton Pointe, the first of two condominium buildings on Fullerton Parkway in Lincoln Park. This first iteration, permitted by the City of Chicago on November 22, is addressed as 519 West Fullerton Parkway, and will occupy the west end of the two sites. Both buildings are on a portion of the former Cenacle Retreat Center, demolished in 2022 to make way for new development. P3 Properties is the project’s developer.

A permit has been issued for P3 Properties to construct a nine-unit, three-story residential building at 2414 N Sawyer Avenue in Logan Square. The development will take place on a vacant lot, which has remained undeveloped for over 50 years and is bordered by alleys on three sides. The lot is situated between a multi-story courtyard building to the north and a single-story Social Security office building to the south. McGrath Architects, the co-developer and designer, will work with P3 Properties on the project.

Located just north of the intersection with W Fullerton Avenue, the new project replaces a vacant lot adjacent to a historical courtyard building behind the Social Security Administration office. Developer P3 Properties is working with local design firm McGrath Architects on the new building, which will mark an end to the over 50 years that the site has remained empty.
