Additional details have been revealed for the next phase of the St Boniface development at 1342 W Chestnut Street in Noble Square. Located across the street from Eckhart Park and replacing a vacant lot just east of the redeveloped cathedral, the building will be the second of new-construction structures of the project. This is being led by ZSD Corp with SPACE Architects + Planners working on the design.

Construction Permit Issued for 921 N Noble Street in Noble Square

A full construction permit has been issued for 921 N Noble Street, part of the larger St. Boniface Redevelopment initiative in Noble Square. ZSD Corp and Stas Development are co-developing this four-story mixed-use structure, which will be located directly north of the St. Boniface church, originally constructed in 1904. While initial plans for 921 N Noble Street projected a two-story building and subsequent documents proposed a three-story development, the most recent architectural drawings and permit description have confirmed four stories.

Work Wraps Up On Residential Development At 1444 W Augusta Boulevard In Noble Square

Work is concluding on a new residential redevelopment at 1444 W Augusta Boulevard in Noble Square. Located west of the intersection with N Noble Street near the exit of the Kennedy Expressway, the project consisted of redeveloping the existing Peabody School building which closed under the Rahm years. Developer Svigos Asset Management is behind the work at the property as well as the conversion of the Motley School down the street, both of which required extensive restoration work and became Chicago landmarks during the process.

Chicago City Council Approves Residential Development At 1545 W Thomas Street In Noble Square

The Chicago City Council approved the rezoning for a new residential development at 1545 W Thomas Street in Noble Square. Located just south from the Polish Triangle intersection of N Ashland Avenue, W Division Street, and N Milwaukee Avenue, The new multi-unit building will replace an existing two-story home on the site. Developer EZMB LLC is leading the project with design firm Hanna Architects.
