New fencing and construction equipment at 919 W Fulton Market suggest that work on ‘919 on Fulton’ may soon commence. This 11-story mixed-use project is a partnership between Fulton Street Companies, JDL, and Shanna Khan.
This week, YIMBY captured shots of the near-complete demolition at 1200 W Fulton Street in Fulton Market, set to give rise to a major new three-building development. The full-block plan will replace a parking lot and three existing one-story industrial buildings, delivering 1.5 million square feet of mixed-use space and designed by Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture (HPA). The developer, Fulton Street Companies, is spearheading the development alongside Waterton, a local landlord company, and Harrison Street Real Estate Capital.
The first demolition permit has now been issued for a major new mixed-use development at 1200 W Fulton Street in Fulton Market. Construction fencing can be seen surrounding a one-story masonry building in Fulton Market. This parcel is currently under development by Fulton Street Companies and Harrison Street Real Estate Capital and is set to be transformed into a 34-story, 414-foot-tall tower. This mixed-use high rise will feature 13,100 square feet of retail space, as well as 433 apartment units.
Since December’s countdown update, facade work has reached the finish line for 1045 on Fulton, a 12-story mixed-use development along West Loop‘s Fulton Market corridor. Co-developed by Fulton St. Companies and Intercontinental Real Estate, the 147-foot-tall edifice will be anchored by 6,500 square feet of ground-floor retail, topped by 11 floors and approximately 130,000 square feet of boutique office space. The retail segment will offer 150 feet of frontage along W Fulton Market and its cross street of N Aberdeen Street.
