An initial foundation permit has been issued for 1217 W Washington Boulevard in West Loop, where DAC Developments has planned for a new 19-story mixed-use tower. Located between two adjacent historic buildings, the site is currently a vacant lot that overlooks the intersection of W. Washington Blvd and N. Willard Ct. DAC Developments is collaborating with Melrose Ascension Capital on the project.
Placing 16th in Chicago YIMBY’s year-end countdown, construction is wrapping up for 808 N Cleveland Avenue, a 23-story mixed-use tower in Near North Side. Standing 260 feet to its pinnacle, the high-rise is being constructed on a formerly overgrown trapezoidal site and is set to provide 7500 square feet of retail space, 200 rentable apartments, and 20,000 square feet of office space.
DAC Developments is now disassembling the tower crane at 808 N Cleveland Avenue, a 23-story mixed-use tower in Near North Side. The topped-out high rise is taking the place of an overgrown trapezoidal piece of land. Programming will include 7,500 square feet of retail space, 20,000 square feet of leasable offices, and 200 for-rent apartments.
Construction at 808 N Cleveland Avenue is progressing at a rapid pace in Near North Side. The 23-story mixed-use tower is quickly reaching its full height, and the structural work is almost finished. The 284-foot-tall tower is being developed by DAC Developments and is replacing a previous overgrown lot on a trapezoidal parcel.
Caisson permits have been issued for the planned mixed-use development at 626 S Wabash Avenue in South Loop. YIMBY reported on the project in August 2021 under the address 630 S Wabash Avenue. The project is being developed by DAC Developments in tandem with Melrose Ascension Capital. The lot is currently vacant.
