Multiple demolition permits have been issued for two adjacent properties at 917 and 919 S Aberdeen Street in Little Italy. MBZ Properties LLC is the listed owner, with previously issued permits indicating a three-story building with two apartment units and a basement on each lot. Parking for 919 S Aberdeen Street will include a concrete pad with two spaces, while the filing description for 917 S Aberdeen Street did not mention any on-site parking.

Demolition Permits Issued for 4107-25 N Whipple Street in Irving Park

Three separate demolition permits have been issued for three adjacent residential` buildings, located at 4115-23 N Whipple Street in Irving Park. Collectively owned by MK Construction & Builders Inc, all three of the structures are frame. Each property also has a detached frame garage that will also undergo demolition. While it is unclear what the owner has planned for the parcels, each is zoned for RS-3 Residential Single-Unit District, which allows for detached single family homes and two-flats. RS-3 also permits a maximum height of 30 feet and a floor area ratio of 0.9, whereby any replacing structure may have up to 90 percent of the square footage of the lot itself.

Demolition permits have been issued for a two-story masonry building located at 5119 N Claremont Avenue in Lincoln Square. It is unclear what the owners, filed under Susan and Dinikar Russell and Vinnakota, are planning for site. However, the current zoning designation is RS-3, which allows for detached single-family homes and two-flats. This designation also allows for a maximum height of 30 feet and a floor area ratio of 0.9, meaning that any replacing structure may have a floor area up to 90 percent of the area of the site itself.

Demolition Permits Filed for 1357 N Dean Street in Wicker Park

Demolition permits were issued last week to clear a two-story residential building at 1357 N Dean Street in Wicker Park. The structure was not subject to emergency removal, but had experienced a fire with no resulting injuries late last year, according to a tweet by Chicago Fire Media.
