Funding has been partially approved for the upcoming mixed-use development known as Harvest Homes II in East Garfield Park. Located at 3415 West Jackson Boulevard near the intersection with South Homan Avenue, we last covered the project just over a year ago as it received full zoning approval from the city.
The flurry of three-flat activity in Chicago’s East Garfield Park Community Area continues with the issuance of two more permits for two separate developers on Friday, August 14.
The first two permits have been issued for three three-flat residential buildings on the 3000 block of West Lexington Street in the East Garfield Park neighborhood. All three permits include the same specifications, and all three show application start dates of July 2, 2026.
A pair of permits have been issued by the City of Chicago to erect three-flat residential buildings at 3330 and 3332 West Walnut Street in East Garfield Park. The permits each have application start dates of June 23, and both came through on August 10, a wait of 48 days in the data portal. Reported costs of $450,000 for each building are noted.
A permit issued to the address of 2850 West Adams Street in East Garfield Park allows for construction of a three-flat residential building. The entity of BMA Investments LLC 2850 W Adams applied to build on May 15, and permission was granted on July 7, a duration of 53 days. The permit includes a reported cost of $500,000.
