Plans have been revealed for the upcoming condo-hotel project at 2020 S Archer Avenue in Chinatown. Located on the intersection with S Clark Street, the project is being led by Century 21 Realty Associates along with HMC Realty & Management, who are also behind a 2023 development dubbed The Clark just down the street at 2116 S Clark Street.
Concrete work is in full swing at 2128 South Tan Court in Chinatown, as Evergreen Garden begins to take form on the South Side. Columns have risen toward the back of the site along the railroad tracks, while crews are busy pouring concrete at ground level near the front. The crew is working on the northeast end of the large lot, building the first of two residential phases.

The former grass field under the CTA Orange Line tracks has been scraped of greenery in anticipation of general contractor MPI Contracting getting started on the project.

The permit will allow for the construction of the first phase of the two-phase development, with initial piling permits having been granted earlier this year.
