Initial details have been revealed for a mixed-use development at 1840 N Marcey Street in Lincoln Park. Located just west of N Clybourn Avenue and across the river from Lincoln Yards, the proposal will replace a one-story commercial building adding on to the recently announced 2033 N Kingsbury Avenue. Similar to that project, this one is also being developed by Sterling Bay with local firm SCB working on its design.
Updated plans have been revealed for the mixed-use development at 2033 N Kingsbury Avenue in Lincoln Park. Located near the intersection with N Clybourn Avenue and fronting the northern end of the Lincoln Yards megadevelopment, plans for the project were originally revealed last year and have received a substantial redesign. Also being led by Sterling Bay, the team behind Lincoln Yards brought in local firm Pappageorge Haymes to work on its design which will help kickstart some large changes in the area.
A construction permit has been secured for a residential development at 2006 N Mohawk Street in Lincoln Park. This new project, led by 2006 Mohawk LLC, involves the construction of a four-story masonry building housing three dwelling units, including a duplex on the first floor and basement. The new development will replace a two-story frame residence.
A full permit has been granted for 2700 N Pine Grove Avenue, under development by the Second Church of Christ Scientist. This permit paves the way for a mixed-use development near the intersection of W Wrightwood Avenue in Lincoln Park. The approved project involves restoring the existing church building and constructing a six-story, 80-foot addition. This structure designed by Booth Hansen will be integrated with the existing church facade.
A construction permit has been granted for a new residential development located at 1906 N Halsted Street in Lincoln Park. The project, owned by Barrett Homes, will feature a three-story, two-flat residential building with basement, replacing a retail store that had been on the site.
