Renovation work is approaching completion for a four-story residential building at 1321 W Taylor Street in Little Italy. According to a permit issued in March of last year, the scope of the work includes the interior alterations and remodeling of its nine units. The project is owned by SRD Holdings LLC.
The Chicago City Council has approved the rezoning for a residential building at 6334 W Irving Park Road in Portage Park. Located just east of the intersection with N Narragansett Avenue, the new project will replace an existing vacant parking lot once utilized by the adjacent Garden Terrace Banquets. Developer ERG Real Estate LLC has teamed up with local design firm Leader Architects on the masonry-clad structure.
Full construction permits have now been issued for a new four-story residential building at 2228 W Belmont Avenue in Roscoe Village. SRD Development LLC is the listed owner, whose plans include three total residences, a basement, a rooftop enclosure, front balconies, a rear four-story metal porch, and a detached three-car garage with a rooftop deck. The site was previously occupied by a one-story masonry building, which received demolition permits this past April.
Construction permits were issued this past week for a new two-story residential building, situated at 24 S Menard Avenue in South Austin. Keon Medlock is the listed owner for the new two-dwelling structure. Plans include a front terrace, a rear one-story open porch, and two parking spaces. As of now the property is occupied by a vacant lot with vegetation overgrowth.
Permits have been issued for 2140 N Claremont Avenue in Bucktown, slated to be a three-story residential building.
