Residential Skyscraper Cirrus Now Open to Residents in Lakeshore East

Now open to residents is the 47-story condominium skyscraper known as Cirrus, situated just west of the lakefront in Chicago’s Lakeshore East. This 562-foot-tall tower at 211 N Harbor Drive was developed by Lendlease and Magellan Development Group, offering 350 condominiums connected to 50,000 square feet of amenity space. Alongside its 37-story apartment buildings sibling dubbed Cascade and a 0.8-acre-Cascade Park. The two towers and the park occupy the parcels J, K, and L of the larger Lakeshore East masterplan.

A full completion and move-ins are fast approaching for the new 47-story condominium tower known as Cirrus, situated at Lakeshore East‘s 211 N Harbor Drive. Developed by Lendlease and Magellan, the 350-unit tower is part of a larger masterplan occupying parcels I, J, K, and L within the Lakeshore East masterplan.

Cascade Apartments and Cascade Park Open in Lakeshore East

This week, the 37-story apartment tower known as Cascade and the adjacent Cascade Park both officially opened in Chicago’s Lakeshore Eastc neighborhood. Lendlease and Magellan have co-developed the overall project, which includes Cascade tower, a taller 47-story condominium tower known as Cirrus, and the public Cascade Park located at the foot of the towers.

Landscaping at Cascade Park Wraps in Lakeshore East

Work on the new 0.8-acre Cascade Park is wrapping up as part of Lendlease and Magellan Development Group‘s Cirrus & Cascade masterplan in Lakeshore East. While the park is to be privately owned and maintained, it will be open to both residents and the public. The park slopes downward from west to east, connecting the elevated N Harbor Drive to the lower lakefront level.

Final Cladding and Landscaping Underway for Lakeshore East’s Cirrus & Cascade

Construction Tops Off on Cirrus and Cascade at Lakeshore East

Construction has topped off on Cirrus and Cascade, a pair of residential towers located in Lakeshore East. Officially addressed at 211 N Harbor Drive and 455 E Waterside Drive, respectively, Cirrus and Cascade are part of the larger Lakeshore East development within the Parcels IJKL. The site sits between N Harbor Drive and Lake Shore Drive, just south of the multi-level Wacker Drive. The towers are being developed by Lendlease and Magellan Development Group, with bKL Architecture in charge of the design.
