Construction has officially completed for Inspire West Town, an eight-story mixed-use project located at 670 N May Street (previously under the address 1140 W Erie). The construction, backed by Bond Companies, is currently at the leasing stage, with the majority of the podium structure already completed.
Final touches are underway for an 11-story mixed-use building branded as “Cadence,” situated at 2050 W Ogden Avenue in the Illinois Medical District. The development will be anchored by 10,000 square feet of retail and 161 apartment residences scaling from studios up to two-bedroom units. In partnership with AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust, East Lake Management & Development is the developer behind the 108-foot-tall structure and its containing master plan known as Gateway.

Unit sizes will fall between one- and three-bedrooms, with overhanging private balconies attached to select units.

Aluminum panel installation has kicked off at The Gateway Apartments, an 11-story residential building at 2050 W Ogden Avenue in the Illinois Medical District. The 108-foot-tall structure will be the second phase of a larger master plan known as The Gateway, whose scope involves a mix of retail, residential, and hotel programming. Planned by East Lake Management & Development alongside AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust, the first phase of this 10-acre plan has yielded a single-story pair of retail buildings. The third phase has also received permits but is awaiting vertical construction. Located to the north of Gateway Apartments, this six-story structure will be a Hilton Hotel with 135 rooms.
