The City of Chicago has issued a standard plan review permit for the construction of a foundations-only rear four-story, three-dwelling unit addition with a garage on the ground floor for six parking spaces at 6212 North Winthrop Avenue in Edgewater. The permit, which was applied for on May 8 and issued on July 12, is part of a larger project that will convert the existing building from eight to 11 dwelling units, as per the architectural plans.

Now topped out, the 60,000-square-foot building received a foundation permit from the City of Chicago on March 3 of 2023, followed by the full building permit on May 26, 2023.
