On Thursday, 2nd Ward Alderman Brian Hopkins joined developers Jon Morgan and Mike Whalen in Lincoln Park for the ceremonial ribbon cutting at The Ludlow. The Ludlow is a residential conversion in the former Ludlow Typography Company building at 2032 North Clybourn Avenue. The general contractor for the residential conversion is Power Construction, with architecture firm GREC Architects working on its design.
Financing has been secured to complete the build out of the mixed-use redevelopment at 2032 N Clybourn Avenue in Lincoln Park. Located adjacent to future phases of Lincoln Yards which recently announced its next set of construction dates, the proposal will rehabilitate the existing Ludlow Typograph Building which was recently landmarked as well. Developer Annexation LLC purchased the structure for $15 million in 2021 and has been working with GREC Architects on its renovation.

Sitting on the corner of N Clybourn Avenue and N Magnolia Avenue, the historical manufacturing building will see new life as a mixed-use development by Annexation LLC with designers GREC Architects. The structure and its two acres of land were recently bought from the previous owners for $15 million and sits adjacent to the Lincoln Yards mega-development.
