The project serves as an addition to City Club Apartments‘ existing 24-story tower, spearheaded by the rental chain’s CEO Jonathan Holtzman. At just under 100 feet to its pinnacle, the connected structure will house a mix of ground-floor retail and 81 apartments.

Located at 60 E Benton Place in The Loop, this two-building complex is owned by City Club Apartments, whose plans for the new building involve ground-level retail and 81 apartments. These added residences will comprise of studios, one-bedrooms, and larger penthouses, bringing the total unit count for the complex to 271.

Located on a corner lot at the intersection of N Wabash Avenue and E Benton Place, the project is an expansion of the existing City Club Apartments, located adjacent to it at 63 E Lake Street. The building is designed by architect Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture and developed by City Club Apartments MDA II LLC. Norcon, Inc. is listed as the general contractor for the project.
