2841 North Southport Avenue in Lake View has risen to its second story, and will add two more levels before it reaches its ultimate height. The three-unit development from Bachula Development, who are taking on general contractor duties as well, replaces a multi-unit frame residential building demolished in July.

Construction fencing already surrounds the four-story frame residential structure, as well as the garage at the rear of the property, which will also be removed.
