A new permit was issued on Monday for the construction of a three-story residential building at 1845 W Waveland Avenue in the North Center neighborhood. The permit’s owners have been listed as Waveland LLC and plans indicate there will be three apartments and a basement. The building will have a recessed rear deck on the first floor and rear porches on the second and third levels. The building will have a roof deck as well as a detached three-vehicle garage with its own rooftop deck.
John C Hanna is listed as the architect of record. The property has RS-3 zoning. No drawings or renderings have been disclosed at this time, however, a masonry exterior is anticipated.
Bus service for CTA Route 50 can be found at the Damen & Waveland stop via a six-minute walk east. The nearest CTA L Brown Line can be found at the Addison station via a three-minute walk south. There is a very active restaurant and shopping scene near the future building.
Best Art Construction Inc will act as the general contractor for the $1.33 million construction. A full timeline and an anticipated completion date have not yet been revealed.
