Foundation permits were recently filed for a one-story Chick-Fil-A at 1910 W Fullerton Avenue on the bend of the Chicago River North Branch. Nearby transit includes bus routes 50 and 74 at the intersection of W Fullerton Avenue and N Damen Avenue. Rail transportation includes a 15-minute walk southeast to Clybourn Station on the UP-N and UP-NW Metra lines. Nearest CTA L access is a 25-minutes’ walk east to Fullerton Station on the Brown, Purple, and Red Lines.

Just east of the commercial site across the river are a variety of retail options all within a seven-minute walking distance. Logan Square and Lincoln Park are within direct access of the planned development in Bucktown, via W Fullerton Avenue.

Permits show Chick-Fil-A as the owner, while the architect of record is Daniel Tessarolo of Chipman Design Architecture. The general contractor is listed as Prairie Contractors. A completion date and renderings have not yet been revealed for the $1.2-million project.

Data from Cook County shows multiple addresses within the larger, prominent plot of land containing the 1910 address. However, it is unclear which, if any of the other addresses will be covered by the development. Given the small size of the 1910 portion, it is expected for the restaurant to cover more, if not all, of the overall site.
