Plan Commission Approved Team Pioneros In Humboldt Park

The Chicago Plan Commission has approved the mixed-use development at 4000 W North Avenue in Humboldt Park. Dubbed Team Pioneros, the project will restore the existing Pioneer Bank building on the corner with N Pulaski Road and construct a new structure behind it. The colorful proposal is also a winner of the city’s Invest South/West initiative and is being led by Park Row Development as well as local architecture firm JGMA, who will eventually call the property home when the firm moves its current offices.

Updated Details Revealed For Mixed-Use Development At 4000 W North Avenue In Humboldt Park

Updated details have been revealed for the mixed-use development at 4000 W North Avenue in Humboldt Park. Dubbed Team Pioneros, the Invest South/West-winning project was presented to the Committee on Design this past week as it begins its journey towards groundbreaking. Park Row Development is working with a 100 percent Latinx-owned team led by local architecture firm JGMA who will not only be working on the design, but will be moving into the restored Pioneer Bank upon completion.

New Round Of Winners Announced For The Invest South/West Initiative

Three new winners of the city’s Invest South/West initiative have been announced by the mayor in Humboldt Park and South Shore. The three winners are located at 3601 W Chicago Avenue and 4000 W North Avenue in 2908 E 79th Street in South Shore. All together the three proposals represent a $126 million investment in the neighborhoods aimed at increasing the quality of life, adding equitable affordable housing while joining a list of seven past winners of the two-year-old program that are set to break ground soon.

Invest South/West Reveals Development Proposals For Pioneer Bank RFP In Humboldt Park

Invest South/West has revealed two new mixed-use development schemes for its RFP site at 4000 W North Avenue in Humboldt Park. The site sits on the corner of W North Avenue and N Pulaski Road and is made up of the landmarked Pioneer Trust and Saving Bank along with its .75-acre parking lot to the north. Goals for the RFP include new commercial space, rental and for-sale housing, and public spaces with the opportunity to celebrate local culture.
