Permits were issued earlier this week for a new residential build located at 1531 W Barry Avenue in the Lake View neighborhood. EZMB LLC is listed as the permit owner for this property. The building will be a three-story, two-flat with a basement, a rear terrace at the first story, and a rear balcony at the second story. There will be an outdoor stair to the third story which will extend to the rooftop deck and enclosure. The structure will also feature a detached three-car garage with its own rooftop deck.
John C Hanna is listed as the architect of record. No drawings or renderings have yet been disclosed.
Future residents will find the CTA Brown Line via a 13-minute walk northeast to the Southport station. Bus service for Route 9 can be found at the Ashland & Wellington stop via a five-minute walk south. There are many dining and entertainment options along N Lincoln Avenue.
EZMB will also be acting as the general contractor on the $713,300 project. A permit application for demolition has been submitted but has yet to be approved. This permit will need to be issued in order to determine an expected completion date for this project.
