A permit was approved on Friday for a new three-story residential building to be located at 4637 S Indiana Avenue in the Grand Boulevard neighborhood. The owner is listed as Jacek Bochaczyk and plans indicate this project is a frame structure and will yield three total units. The development will replace a vacant lot.
Ana Wolfe of ASW Design is listed as the architect of record. While there aren’t any further details available at this time, the permit does indicate the presence of masonry contractors.
Transportation is readily available with the nearest bus service available for Route 47 at the 47th Street & Indiana stop via a three-minute walk west. The CTA Green Line can also be accessed the 47th station via a four-minute walk east. There are many retail, dining, and lodging options in the vicinity, many of which are located within walking distance along 47th Street.
Best Art Construction, Inc will act as the general contractor for the $250,000 construction. A full timeline and an anticipated completion date have not yet been revealed.
