Construction permits have been issued for a two-story residential development at 4205 W Roscoe Street in Kilbourn Park. Rafael Szymanski is the listed owner, whose plans include three total units, a basement, and a three-car detached garage with a rooftop deck. The new project will replace a single-floor frame residential building.
Ronald Vari of Vari Architects is the architect of record. While no drawings or renderings have been published, multiple masonry contractors listed in the permit suggest a possible brick or stone design.
As far as bus transit, residents will find nearby northwest and southeast-bound stops for Route 56 located at the Milwaukee & Keeler intersection, a two-minute walk to the north. Additional nearby service is comprised of Route 53 to the southeast and Route 77 to the south. For the CTA L, those looking to board Blue Line trains will find Addison station available via a 20-minute walk northeast.
Outdoor access can be found at Kilbourn Park via an eight-minute walk west, while various retail and dining options span the commercial corridor of N Milwaukee Avenue within a two-minute walk of the site.
Ted Kawula Company is serving as general contractor for the $404,000 project, whose completion date is not yet known.
