Nearby bus access includes route 37’s Sedgwick & Menomonee stop, a five-minute walk east. Five minutes south is also bus routes 9 and 72, which stop at North Ave & Cleveland. CTA L access is a nine-minute walk southeast to Sedgwick station, serviced by the Brown and Purple Lines.

Within a five-minute walk are a number of small parks, including Bauler (Mathias) Park, Sedgwick Park, and Hudson Chess Park. The much larger Lincoln Park is a 15-minute walk east, with North Avenue Beach an additional seven minutes in that direction.

A narrow three-story building currently sits on the site, it will be demolished and replaced by the new structure with five residential units. Additional features include a basement, rooftop deck, and six-foot-high wooden fence. It is likely the development will absorb and occupy an adjacent empty lot shown on the market recently by Jameson.

The owner is listed under 1733 N. Mohawk LLC. The project’s general contractor is Swan Property Development, Inc, and the masonry contractor is Meath Masonry Corp, indicating a brick or stone facade. The architect of record is listed as John C Hanna of Hanna Architects.

No renderings have yet been released and a completion date has not been indicated.
