Remaining brickwork is currently underway for Wrigleyville Lofts, located at 949 W Dakin Street in Lake View. Developed by Draper & Kramer, the seven-story mixed-use project will house 13,000 square feet of retail, partitioned into four available units ranging from 1,400 to 2,500 square feet. Yesterday, owners of the Prairie Shores apartments celebrated the groundbreaking of a new two-story resident clubhouse in Bronzeville. Spearheaded by Chicago-based firms Golub & Company and Farpoint Development alongside Goldman Sachs Urban Investment Group, the 17,510-square-foot structure will be nested between the 2901 and 2951 towers along Martin Luther King Drive. The five-tower Prairie Shores complex was purchased in 2019 and is undergoing a multi-phase renovation of its existing 1,675 residences, common spaces, and landscaping.
Structural work has reached the fourth floor for 949 W Dakin Street, a seven-story mixed-use project planned by Draper & Kramer and located in Lake View. Programming will consist of 13,000 square feet of commercial space at ground level, divided into 1,300- and 2,200-square-foot units. The six upper floors will house a total of 120 apartments, 108 of which will be single bedrooms and the remaining 12 as two-bedrooms.
