The permit, which was applied for on December 20, 2023 and issued on July 25, 2024, allows for the construction of a three-story, four-unit residential building with a basement, front and rear balconies at the second story, a rooftop deck, rooftop stair enclosures, and a detached four-vehicle garage with a rooftop deck.
The City of Chicago has issued a standard plan review permit for the construction of a new two-story, two-dwelling unit building with a basement at 4362 South Emerald Avenue in Canaryville. The permit, which was applied for on November 29, 2023, and issued on July 9, includes a front stair, a rear two-story stair, and a detached three-vehicle garage.
The Chicago City Council has approved the rezoning for a residential development at 526-530 W 41st Street in Canaryville. Located just east of the intersection with S Wallace Street, the three homes will replace a vacant lot, a one-story non-historical home and its adjacent garage. Developer Thomas M Doyle Builders LLC is working with local designer Stern Group Architects on the low-cost builds.
