Still In Ground-Level Mode, 4725 North Clifton Lands Its Full Permit

As foundation work continues at 4725 North Clifton Avenue in Uptown, the City of Chicago has issued a permit allowing the completion of the four upper floors of the five-story apartment building. General contractor Method Construction is at street level, working on concrete after receiving the foundation and superstructure permit to build up to the second floor on April 24. With the latest permission granted on August 19, they can build out the entire 40-unit structure.

Site Prep Underway For The Clifton At 4725 North Clifton In Uptown

A portion of another surface parking lot has disappeared, never to be parked on again, as site prep gets underway for The Clifton at 4725 North Clifton Avenue in Uptown. A site visit during the final week of May showed most of the old asphalt scraped away, with only a few marked parking spaces still visible at the south end of the site. The Clifton’s construction will include no parking, so once those last few spaces are banished, this will be a car-free space.

Plans have been revealed and approved for a new mixed-use development at 4725 North Clifton Avenue in Uptown. Located at the intersection with North Broadway, the structure will replace part of a large parking lot just north of the historic Uptown Broadway Building. The project is being led by CEDARst Companies, which is best known for its Flats developments.
