Construction has begun for the 52-unit 3605 North Ravenswood residential development in Lake View. Located on the northeast corner of the intersection connecting Addison Street, Ravenswood Avenue, and Lincoln Avenue, the six-story building is being developed by Macon Construction (also the general contractor) and Stocking Urban. Designs by Hirsch MPG call for the sixth floor to serve as an amenity deck, with the ground floor holding two commercial spaces. There will be 12 off-street parking spaces on the alley off Ravenswood.

3605 N Ravenswood Avenue receives its building permit

The City of Chicago issued a full building permit on July 8 for 3605 N Ravenswood Avenue in Lake View. While it was still pending, the permit for the six-story (five stories plus rooftop access to the sixth-floor amenity deck), 52-unit development showed the final hold, from the Department of Housing, had been released on July 5. That opened the door to allow construction to begin after a year-long delay in getting started.

Located at the intersection of Ravenswood Avenue and W Addison Street, the corner lot is currently home to multiple structures. A retail strip center faces W Addison Street and holds three occupied commercial units while two multifamily residential structures face N Ravenswood Avenue, north of the retail center. Macon Construction Group and Stocking Urban are the developers behind the project.
