A two-unit residential building that began construction in May of this year is progressing quickly at 1450 West School Street in the Lake View neighborhood. Foundation work was underway for the project when we were here in the spring; it has now risen to its full three-story height.
Foundation work is underway after the completion of demolition at 1450 W School Street in Lake View. The two-unit residential building, permitted by the City of Chicago on April 26, will include a detached two-car garage, plus two wood decks; one atop the garage, and one at the rear of the first floor.
A self-certified permit has been issued for the construction of a new three-story, two-dwelling unit building at 1450 West School Street in Lakeview East. The permit, granted to MMNT Development LLC and designed by Helen Liptak, allows for the erection of the building with a basement, first-floor rear deck, third-floor private roof deck, and a detached two-vehicle garage with a roof deck. The project also includes the installation of rear wood fences.
