Facilities for a new Lubavitch Girls High School are under construction at Devon Avenue and North Whipple Street in West Ridge. Students had been attending classes in schoolrooms attached to the Congregation Bnei Ruven at 6350 North Whipple; the new two-story masonry building will update and modernize the educational experience.
A renovation permit for the new school was issued May 18, 2023. LG Development Group is serving as the general contractor; they’re working on design plans by Morgante-Wilson, an architecture firm in Evanston. They’ve designed a building that will include a rooftop terrace, a basement, and indoor parking spaces. A permit to add a passenger elevator was issued March 20 of this year.
Students, their families, and faculty of the school have Route 155 bus stops within a one-block walk on Devon Avenue. Three blocks west, at Devon and Kedzie, is a CTA bus terminal for Routes 82, 96, and 155.

Wow a New Classical design, nice!
This is being constructed on the three residential lots behind the existing building? It would be nice to see a site plan or at least lot lines.
