Demolition permits have been issued for the removal of a two-story residential building at 1845 W Waveland Avenue in the North Center neighborhood. We previously reported on permits issued to this property for an upcoming build with three units and a basement. John C Hanna designed the new building and will have a recessed rear deck on the first floor and rear porches on the second and third levels.
Bus service for CTA Route 50 can be found at the Damen & Waveland stop via a six-minute walk east. The nearest CTA L Brown Line can be found at the Addison station via a three-minute walk south. There is a very active restaurant and shopping scene near the future building.
Best Art Construction Inc is acting as the general contractor for the new construction and this demolition. With the issuance of this permit, construction for the new project is imminent.
