Final siding work has kicked off for DG Advisors Group’s 2633 N Emmett Street, a three-story residential building situated in Logan Square. With four total units, the development comes with a rooftop deck and stair enclosure, front and rear decks on the first and second floors, and a detached four-car garage with its own rooftop deck. This new structure has replaced a two-story frame residence and detached garage, which received demolition permits this past April.
Hanna Architects is behind the frame design. Current photos show a white siding now undergoing installation with complementary black window accents.
The site is located just a two-minute walk north of the CTA L’s Logan Square station, which houses service for the Blue Line as well as stops for Routes 56 and 76. Those looking to board Route 82 will find additional stops via a five-minute walk northwest to Kimball & Diversey/Milwaukee intersection.
Closest park space consists of Logan Square Park via a four-minute walk southeast. Unity Park is also close by, with its eastern end available within a six-minute walk east. Given the site’s proximity to Milwaukee Avenue, residents will also find a wide array of restaurant, bar, and retail options both to the northwest and southeast.
At just under $1.2 million to construct, Panoptic Group Incorporated has served as the general contractor. While no completion date has been set, the pace of progress suggests an opening date this coming fall or winter.
