Construction progress has risen to the third-floor exterior on the residential development at 691 North Milwaukee Avenue in the River West neighborhood. Framing work is visible for the second-level dwelling units, as the interior keeps pace with work on the building’s shell. Mo2 Properties is the developer, delivering 34 units in a five-story with basement structure.

Designed by SPACE Architects + Planners, there will be 34 parking spaces included, with all but two of them located in the basement and ground levels. The remaining two will be outside. There will also be storage for 34 bicycles.

Panoptic Group is the general contractor, having been designated as such with a revision permit issued on September 13, 2024. The original building permit was issued February 23 of last year, and came with an estimated construction cost of $12 million.

Residents of 691 North Milwaukee Avenue will live within a two-block walk of the Route 56 bus. A four-block walk north to the Milwaukee/Ogden/Chicago intersection leads to the Route 66 bus and the Chicago Blue Line subway station.
