Foundation work has begun for another condominium development on the lot created by 2022’s Twisted Hippo fire in Irving Park. We showed you construction progress on the first condo building here earlier this month, and now 4343 N Richmond Street is also on the way. Like its predecessor at 4337 N Richmond, this will be another three-story, six-unit structure.
Vivi Development is the developer and general contractor for 4343 N Richmond Street. They got permission to build on May 17 from the City Of Chicago. That permits calls for three stories of residences plus a basement, a detached five-vehicle garage, and roof decks on both the garage and residential building. Compass Architecture is responsible for the design work.
On the subject of 4337, most of the windows have been installed on all four sides as construction progresses on the condominiums. At the rear of the property, the two detached garages should get started soon.
Buyers at 4343 N Richmond Street residences will find Route 78 bus service less than a block away. Walking northward about three blocks will take them to the CTA’s Francisco Brown Line station.
