The City of Chicago has issued permits for the construction of a new residential building at 2038 North Bingham Street in Palmer Square. Permits were issued on January 29, and the project is anticipated to cost approximately $1.96 million.
Designed by architect John Hanna, the finished structure will stand three stories tall and house four dwelling units along with a basement. The property will offer residents a rooftop deck, along with front decks for each story and a rear deck on the first story. The property will also offer residents a two-vehicle garage at the first story level, which feature another rooftop deck.
The construction of the building is being managed by GB Construction. Electrical installations are being handled by ALT Electric Corporation.
When complete, 2038 N Bingham Street will be located steps from bus service for Routes 73 and 56. Beyond that, the Western CTA station, which services the Blue Line, will be an eight-minute walk to the southeast of the property.
