Construction permits have been issued for a new three-unit apartment building at 151 N La Crosse Avenue in Austin. The project, which has a budget of $250,000, was approved on February 6.

The project is the vision of owner Keon Medlock. The architect of record is listed as C W Foellmer, believed to be Carlton W Foellmer. Future residents will enjoy an open back porch for each unit.

Medlock Construction Inc is the general contractor overseeing the construction process. Masonry work is being handled by D&D Concrete LLC.

When complete, 151 N La Crosse Avenue will be located steps from bus service for Routes 20, 54, and 392. Beyond that, the Cicero CTA Station, which services the Green Line, will be a short walk to the north of the property.
