A renovation project is underway for a three-story, six-flat residential apartment building located at 734 E 95th Street in Roseland. The project, which was submitted on February 8, 2022, was approved on December 15, following an 675-day review process.
The project, which has an estimated budget of $35,000, plans to comprehensively overhaul several components of the building, including the complete replacement of existing lintels throughout the property and the installation of new windows and entry doors. Beyond that, the project plans to bring upgrades to the kitchens and bathrooms of the building.
Phillip Johnson is overseeing the architectural aspects of the renovation, and Mikel Development & Construction will serve as the general contractor. 734 E 95th Street is located steps from bus stops for numerous routes, in addition to the 95th Street/Chicago State University CTA station, which services the Metra Electric District Train.
