A permit was approved on Friday for a new four-story mixed-use building to be located at 2354 West Farragut Avenue in the Lincoln Square neighborhood. The owner is listed as 5235-41 N Western LLC and plans indicate this project will feature first-floor retail space and 18 units spread across the second through fourth floors. The second through fourth floors will have outside decking and the building will have a rooftop deck. There will be 18 designated parking spaces for residents and 16 spaces for non-residents. The development will replace an existing parking lot.
John C Hanna is the architect of record. As of now, no drawings or renderings have been made public, however, it has been confirmed that this will involve a brick exterior.
Future residents will find bus service for Route 49, 49B, X49 at the intersection of Western & Foster stop, within a three-minute walk of the site. There are many popular shops and dining establishments that are readily accessible on foot along N Western.
Panoptic Group Inc is the general contractor behind the reportedly $6.25 million construction. A timeline for construction has not been released and no demolition permits have yet been issued.
