Demolition permits were issued this week for a two-story masonry residence located at 6334 North Whipple Street in the West Ridge neighborhood. The owner of the permit is listed as Congregation B’nei Ruven. The residence is being moved as part of a larger plan to renovate and expand the neighboring school.

The site is highly accessible and well situated, with the closest bus service available for Route 155 at the intersection of Devon & Sacramento, via a three-minute walk north of the property. There are a number of popular businesses and eateries along nearby W Devon Avenue.
MBR Wrecking & Construction is serving as the demolition contractor on this project. There is no indication as to a timeline for any future construction.
