Street View of 2015 S Ruble Street

A permit was issued this week for a three-story residential building located at 2015 S Ruble Street in the Lower West Side neighborhood. The permit owner is listed as Teh Chan and plans indicate the construction of three total dwelling units with rear porches, and a rooftop deck on the building. Three parking spots will be available on a paved concrete pad. The planned structure will fill an empty lot.

John C Hanna is listed as the architect of record. At the time of this writing, no drawings or renderings have been disclosed. However, the plans indicate masonry contractors.

The closest bus service available is Route 21 which can be found at Cermak & Lumber via a six-minute walk south. There is an abundance of retail and dining east along 18th Street and south along Cermak Road.

Cup Construction Corp will act as the general contractor for the $690,500 construction. A full timeline and an anticipated completion date have not yet been revealed.
