The proposed project’s owner is listed as Chicagoland Home Investors LLC. The scope of the project details six units with balconies planned for the front of the building. Plans indicate the presence of a five-foot-tall wooden fence, a trash enclosure, and a six-vehicle parking pad at the rear of the building site. The lot is currently vacant.
Stern Group Architects LLC is listed as the architect of record for the proposed project. No drawings or renderings have been disclosed at this time, however, a masonry exterior is expected given that the permit lists multiple masonry contractors.
Route 3 is the nearest bus route to this property, and it can be found at the King Drive & 46th Street stop via a four-minute walk east. For those looking to access the CTA L, the Green Line can be boarded at the 47th Street station via a four-minute walk south. There are several grocery and dining options available within a five-minute walk along 47th Street.
S and H Remodeling Inc will act as the general contractor for the $650,000 construction. A full timeline and an anticipated completion date have not been disclosed.
