A permit was issued last week for a two-story residential building with a masonry facade at 6320 S Champlain Avenue in the Woodlawn neighborhood. The proposed project’s owner is listed as Greenline Development Inc and this is a companion build to a nearby property reported on last week. The permit details the construction of two units with a basement and a detached two-vehicle garage at the rear of the building site. The construction will fill a vacant lot.
John C Hanna is listed as the architect of record. No drawings or renderings have been disclosed at this time, however, a masonry exterior is anticipated given the masonry contractors listed in the plans.
The CTA Green Line can be accessed at the Cottage Grove station via a five-minute walk north. The nearest bus service available is Route 63 at the 63rd Street & Langley Street stop via a two-minute walk east. There are a number of grocery and dining options available within a five-minute walk.
Greenline Homes LLC will act as the general contractor for the $288,200 construction. A full timeline and an anticipated completion date have not yet been revealed.
