A permit was issued earlier this week for a two-story residential building with a masonry facade at 6332 S Champlain Avenue in the Woodlawn neighborhood. The proposed project’s owner is listed as Greenline Development Inc. The permit details state that there will be two units with a basement and a detached two-car garage at the rear of the building site. The construction will replace an existing structure.

John C Hanna is listed as the architect of record. No drawings or renderings have been disclosed at this time, however, a masonry exterior is anticipated given the masonry contractors listed in the plans.

The CTA Green Line can be accessed at the Cottage Grove station via a two-minute walk north. The nearest bus service available is Route 63 and it can be found at the 63rd Street & Langley Street stop via a two-minute walk east. There are a number of grocery and dining options available within a five-minute walk.

Greenline Homes LLC will act as the general contractor for the $288,200 construction. A full timeline and an anticipated completion date have not yet been revealed.
