Construction permits have been issued for a new three-story, three-unit residential development at 6508 S Ingleside Avenue in Woodlawn. The owner and developer, filed under GA Roslyn LLC, has also planned for the building to include a rear open metal porch spanning the full height and three parking spaces. The new construction will replace a formerly vacant lot.
Stern Group Architects LLC is the listed architect of record. Designs for the structure have not yet been posted, though the filing description indicates a masonry design.
Bus service can be found for Route 4 via a four-minute walk west. Additional service for Routes 5, 67, and 95 are a four-minute walk south to 67th Street & Ingleside, while service for Route 63 is located within a five-minute walk north along various 63rd Street intersections.
CTA L Green Line service is accessible via a nine-minute walk northwest to Cottage Grove station, while closest Metra trains can be found at the 63rd Street station via a 15-minute walk northeast.
DTA Group Inc is serving as general contractor for the reportedly $225,000 plans. A full completion timeline for the construction has not yet been revealed.
